Some of my favorite songs from Arab artists, spanning the years 1922 to 1982. Some are traditional folk songs, some classic early Arabic popular music, some westernized pop and even some noise/experimental, disco and garage rock. A couple artists remain known worldwide, most are remembered only in the Arab world/their country of origin and some are truly obscure musicians who made a few recordings and disappeared. Enjoy!
