In 2006, I was a sophomore in high school and I made my first mix CD ever for a good friend of mine. I was picking things up quickly, but I was still new to music culture since I'd been foolishly ignoring my entire life. I wanted to give it a go, however, and here is the very first playlist I'd assemble. Admittedly, it's not the most original of lists, but I owe virtually everything I know about music to these songs and artists.
