Notes
As someone who grew up in a town surrounded by a bunch of corn and beans without any farm knowledge about corn or beans, I know a few die-hard country music fans, but I do not really connect with the messages/lyrics of the current country music hits. Luckily, I've had the honor to become acquainted with the narrative, folksy, and soulful country classics of a different era of music. Enjoy! ;)
*I could not find the origin of the image, but it is of Hank Williams. His lyrics are as honest as his voice; I just wish in vain that his life had had more light in it.
**This is my 42nd compiled playlist; I inexplicably find pleasure in the number 42, so I thought I would put it in the description in order to remember.

42 is the answer to Life, the Universe, and Everything; now if we could only find the question.

@jlcarr1983 I am a fan of Douglas Adams too, but my pleasure in the number 42 is strictly arbitrary without the influence of pan-dimensional beings. ;)

I only recently got my head out of my ass and realized how beautiful old country and folk music is. Thank you for aiding me in my exploration of country music, you've definitely inspired me to share some of my old folk favourites.
