I went to my first "rave" party in 1992. It took place in an underground parking garage in Portland, Oregon, USA, and I think I paid 15 bucks to get in. It was small scale, a few speakers scattered around, some hand painted Alice in Wonderland props, and lots of people jumping around having a great time enjoying this exciting, new music: TECHNO!
