One of my favorite things about folk music is the fact that you get endless re-imaginings of the same basic songs. It's like Shakespeare; by varying the interpretation, one can change the song and make it uniquely one's own, while still maintaining its identity. This is a collection of some of my favorites, both traditional and otherwise. (I promise it's not as pretentious as I made it sound -_-;;)
