July and August were my escape months, the months without any harsh responsibilities or restrictions. With September already here I know that I'm going to be missing some of the freedoms and opportunities I had during the summer. July and August were filled with road trips, feet in the sand, and ice cream cones. T-shirts and sandals, and pretty summer nights. Day trips, vacations with friends, bonfires, and sitting outside. It's just starting to set in that I'm going to have to get used to the structure and routine that the winter months bring. In a way, I'm starting to embrace the cold weather and it's changes. I'm ready to let go of the summer and keep the memories that came with it. These are some of the songs I listened to in July and August.
