A sort of collage oratorio, arranged in the style of Benjamin Britten's Festival of Lessons and Carols, on the theme of redeeming a broken world.

May we retell this story, in its many forms-- that strange transmutation of brutality into love, of beating swords into plowshares-- and offer up a hymn to the Sufferer.
