Anyone who has listened to these playlist I post realize that my love and knowledge of music is rooted in the past. However, this mix seems more rooted in nostalgia than most. Maybe the reason is that it's my own personal nostalgia that is being examined here. It reeks of MTV and the beginning of my manhood. Although New Wave was never my first option, I can honestly say I love every single one of these songs. There's some big hits, some not so big, and some that should have been. It amounts to a very infectious, listenable part of my past.
