Storyville, known for its liquor, ladies, and music, was located in New Orleans from 1897 to 1917. New Orleans, of course, was and is known for its mysterious happenings. Therefore it is no surprise that in the hotbed of the city’s iniquity, in the darkest days of rampant sin, a legend rose and made the rounds of the speakeasies, brothels, and bars. In the steamy depths of the red light district, there was a House. It's been the ruin of many poor girls, who never saw daylight again.
