Thank you. Now I understand the source you got it from my friend. And I understand this is Desmond Dekker's version, but Jimmy Cliff did compose the original version. If you notice on the "Trojan Records" cover, it show (J. Cliff) - meaning that he composed the lyrics and the music for this song.
