Notes
Cajun & creole folk music from the 1930s. Often forgotten is the French heritage of the United States and its massive influence on all parts of culture in the south. This is fairly obscure french-American music, featuring lots of accordion and violin, made and recorded during the Great Depression and alongside the rise of the original blues.
