The tag "Black Ice" made me curious. I might have asked before but are you familar with Gibsons "Neuromancer" and the Shadowrun world/novels? Many mixes of yours resemble those perfectly.
@Deathinteresse i did read the neuromancer trilogy when I was in high school and it was a huge influence on me, (guess that might be obvious.) haven't read shadowrun though. wasn't it a game? I didn't know there were novels too.
Yes, it started out as a table-top role-playing game but there must be hundreds of novels by now. I was always diging the mix of tech and magic and the dystopian approach of shadowrun.
