Been real caught up in R & M lately. I reluctantly sympathize with this trash mess of a man. Most of the emotional turmoil he endures is caused by himself, whether directly or indirectly. I'm no stranger to emotional self sabotage, but one's quirky knack for self depreciation can only be met with resignation or opposition. One will lead to self healing, the other will lead to self destruction. I can't wait to see how upcoming character developments affect the course of his path.
