Notes
The proud and beautiful black brothers and sisters are back again bringing us some really hip-shaking grooves from the past....the music comes mostly from the 70's or includes the spirit of the era of the afro hairdo...the mix includes artists like Curtis Mayfield, Bobby Womack and Fuzzy Haskins along with some really hard-to-find gems and rare grooves...

Yeah, this is great song which is actually recorded in the 90's but absolutely captures the true funk spirit of the 70's.

Perfect for a Gloomy Monday at work. Thanks! Who is the photo of the woman with the awesome hair?

Actually I'm not sure about these people. I was just trying to find a cool 70's picture of a woman with an authentic afro hairstyle.

I listened to the mix and really liked it, especially the first tune. It is actually a version of this older song from the hippie era: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xLKouiOa0pQ
