A compilation of bands I am about 10 years too young for. I fondly remember "discovering" them in high school and college. All have had hits, but they were kind of outliers even in their own time - under the New Wave or post-punk umbrellas but kinda getting wet. For the most part, I picked songs that diverge from the bands' most radio-friendly, so even old nerds like me can re-hear them.
