Blueberry Hill

We’ll skip who ordered the building of the hydrogen bomb in 1950 & cover the introduction of the 1st cardboard credit card in that year. There were a few hiccups, but in time reduced nagging your date for their extra change to pay the gas attendant; mind you running out of fuel did have its roadside perks. Average new houses were about $8K, salaries ran roughly $3K a year, a gallon of gas was 18 cents & a basic new car was around $1,5K. With respect to the tunes in 1950, I am delighted to feature the following top of the chart music artists in that year. The-Andrews-Sisters, Nat-King-Cole, The-Ames-Brothers, Billy-Eckstine, Bing-Crosby, Patty-Page, Gary-Crosby, Tony-Martin, Kay-Starr, Teresa Brewer, Sammy-Kaye, Guy Lombardo & Boy Red Foley. Many thanks to you for listening…enjoy the music!
