This dazzling set of dance music plunges deep into the rhythms and swirls of the disco era. It was a period in time of presenting one’s social dynamics at the discotheques; whether simply looking for romance or craving an escape into one’s own experimental phase of life. Disco brought fashion to a new level of flamboyancy in this decade with the introduction of metallic threads and sequins being fastened to clothing for that special sparkle and shine while boogieing on the dance floor. Also popular was a stretchy strapless fabric tube top worn around the chest and torso called a “boob-tube.” Even makeup was transformed with the ladies spreading a glitter gel on their cheeks, and lips.
