I love everything from Leonard Cohen to Jack Johnson. I love Neil Young AND Bob Dylan. I love the Stones AND the Beatles. I love the sound of a slow aching slide in an empty wooden room, just as much as a tearing metal riff backed by clashing cymbals. I am always looking to experiment with new tunes, discover new crooners and drum beaters that speak to my soul. My musical journey has led me from Clapton to the Doors to Zeppelin to the Grateful Dead, my favorite band, spent some time on the Jam Band circuit now I go to a John Hiatt concert and ride home listening to Megadeath ;). My musical tastes are varied. I like acoustic, blues, funk, jam, jazz, lyrical, metal, punk, reggae, rock, techno. Not crazy about contemporary country or rap. But I dig rock and outlaw music with country roots, such as Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Townes Van Zandt. And I can definitely jam to some RUN DMC, 311, and Beasties.
