the annual summer mix ... is a little late! I've been collecting songs for so much longer than usual the mix is like a summer peach about to burst.

Every year I publish a mix at the beginning of summer as a way of soundtracking the season. It's light, breezy, and chock full of the summer-iest songs of the past year, with some choice aged cuts thrown in for flavor.

late 2017 - this year has been incredible for new releases already, from Hinds to Kacey Musgraves, with throwbacks like the Amps, from indie, to folk, to hip hop and punk - everything sunny, everything certified fresh.
