I am definitely paying attention - botched mind-melds are my favorite sort of Star Trek fanfic. A close second to the ones with steamy Kirk-Uhuru love scenes. Or steamy Kirk-Tribble love scenes.

Some of those fan-fiction folk have way too weird an imagination.
