Todd Anthony Shaw (born April 28, 1966 in South Los Angeles, California), better known by his stage name Too $hort, is an American rapper and actor. He is considered the forefather of hip-hop in Oakland and the Bay Area, California. Through his music, Too $hort has cultivated a persona of a no-nonsense pimp, and is widely credited for popularizing pimp culture in hip hop, along with Snoop Dogg, Ice-T and Slick Rick. Jazze Pha aka Jazzy Pha
Phalon "Jazze Pha" Alexander (pronounced Jazzie Fay) (born 1975 in Memphis, Tennessee) is an American songwriter, rapper and record producer. He is known for his collaborations with Nappy Roots, Nelly, Ludacris, Trick Daddy, T.I. and Lil' Wayne, among others. Bun B
Rapper Bun B (born Bernard Freeman) rose to fame in the duo UGK. Bun B and Pimp C formed UGK in the late '80s when their former crew, Four Black Ministers, fell apart. Based in Port Arthur, Texas, UGK signed with Jive and with 1992's 'Too Hard to Swallow' began a series of Southern gangsta rap albums that were successful sellers. Bun B formed the side project Mddl Fngz in 2000, but his main concern was still UGK.
