Lost (Adjective):
-unable to find one's way; not knowing one's whereabouts
-denoting something that has been taken away or cannot be recovered
-There's inherent danger in deciding to leave the house at 1am to take a walk in the darkest parts of the city, but you don't feel alive at the thought of your mother yelling at you when you get home. It's the idea of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Of walking past the wrong drug dealers or sitting too long in the bad part of the park. Self harm does not necessarily need to be self inflicted. And god would it be beautiful to die here, in the 2 am serenity of the town where you grew up, stars alive and well above you, waiting for you to join them.
