I am passionate about writing, love, peace, animal rights, human rights. I believe LOVE has the power to heal all suffering.

I am a college graduate with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology/Sociology. I have worked most of my life in human services. I have worked as a counselor in the mental health system with mentally ill adults, and in corrections with males incarcerated in prison. I have been a writer my whole life, and am currently trying to "break through" as a freelance writer. I am an advocate of Animal Rights, Human Rights, Peace, anti-bullying efforts, non-violence, marijuana legalization, & treatment & rehabilitation for addicts and criminals. I believe everyone is capable of change. I support early intervention, prevention, and education to reduce the number of at-risk youth before they get caught up in the vicious cycle of addiction and the criminal justice system.
I love HipHop music, and respect alot of the artists for overcoming adversity and "keeping it real." I am straight up, 100% real with everyone & treat all living beings with respect & compassion. I have no interest in nor time for phony/2-faced people or Haters. I am spiritual, although not religious. If I were to narrow it down to one core belief system, I would choose Buddhism as my spiritual guide to live by. I try to live my life with passion and compassion, embracing the Buddhist philosophy on life, but I respect all religions that center around compassion and good will.
Favorite artists are Eminem, The Game, T.I., Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Paul McCartney, Pink Floyd, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Staind, David Bowie, Green Day, Lady Gaga.
My role models/heroes are Dalai Lama, Martin Luther King Jr., Ghandi, Deepak Chopra, Jack Kerouac, Marshall Mathers, Bill Clinton, Paul McCartney...
Books that changed my life are Doors of Perception (Aldous Huxley), Catcher in the Rye (J.D. Salinger), The Little Prince (Antoine St. Exupery), Wherever You Go, There You Are (Jon Kabat Zinn), The Secret (Rhonda Byrne), The Celestine Prophecy (James Redfield), Don't Sweat the Small Stuff (Richard Carlson), Do You (Russell Simmons)
