After my freshman year of college (1985), I made a frantic attempt to record all of the great music I was turned on to that year. After running out of tapes, I was forced to condense it all on to one. This was the beginning of my obsession with compiling music. After spending 2 years as a DJ at WLVR, I was hopelessly hooked. Not only do I make compilations based on musical themes and special occasions, I now do this as a form of therapy during periods of complex emotion.
