I've been listening to this mix over and over all weekend. It's amazing. I even took your advice and blazed a joint. The MGMT song, though great, wasn't very conducive to that state (too much tempo and synth) but I have to say that Metric is a very underrated band and I'm surprised their not more popular. Like most great music lovers here, let me concur on the awesomeness of The Decemberists.

I disagree. These songs lack excitement and intensity. And F* MGMT and their wannabe trendy British buttholes. If you wanna feel better, watch the music video "obsessed with you" by the orion experience, not this hippie white person music. I feel like this falls more under the I'm feellng lazy too lazy to tell my 20 something quazie-hippie bass player friend to change his ipod mix than the make you feel better mix. But dreamworld is pretty good. That doesn't make it okay though. If you wanna make me feel better, demand my attention; don't make a playlist where i can barely tell when the song changes
